Group Supporter

How long have you been involved with bemix?

I joined bemix as a volunteer at The Pulse back in the September of 2013. From there I got involved with various projects including volunteering with the Café. I started supporting people in using the computers and supported an Arts group on a Tuesday afternoon. I also volunteered with the Media and Publicity group on a Friday supporting people with development of the Zine and e-mails. In the October of the same year, I started volunteering at West Track Studio on a Thursday supporting people with their film ‘Pushed’ on the Special Effects.

What is your role in bemix?

In March 2014, I joined the workforce as cover support but still continued volunteering at The Pulse and West Track Studio. I currently support mainly in Canterbury and Sittingbourne on a daily basis, supporting in Music and Media (MAP) and the Be Seen Be Heard group.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

In my spare time I enjoy developing my skills on the drums, which I can apply to people when I support them with gaining skills in music.
